It is the northernmost resort on the Comacchio coast and takes its name from a branch of the ancient course of the Po River.
From here one can fully enjoy beauties that privilege direct contact with unspoiled nature: the beaches, with their sandy shore comfortable for long walks and sunbathing, are protected by a 'wide Pineta and look toward the great Po Delta and the Sacca di Goro. Today the most intact of the seven Lidi boasts a modern marina near the bridge over the Po di Volano.
Because of its somewhat isolated location, but exposed to wind and sea currents, Lido di Volano is the center for sports such as kitesurfing and windsurfing.
